Teresa Huff has a Master's in Education and has been a professional freelance grant writer for schools and non-profits since 2005. She has successfully written grants at the federal, state, local, and corporate foundation levels, bringing in several million dollars for clients. She has also conducted external evaluations of federal and state grant programs.
Teresa has a variety of experience with other writing clients as well including commercial appraisers, attorneys, and local magazines. Along the way, she was also the Director of Corporate Development for an "Inc. 500 Fastest Growing Small Businesses" real estate investment company. She was instrumental in developing their processes for more efficient operations and creating online courses for in-house corporate training.
Teresa was published in 2007 as a co-author of The Block Academy PreK “Builders” curriculum, a partnership of MegaBloks, Inc. and DEPCO, LLC.
She graduated with a 4.0 Master’s degree and a summa cum laude Bachelor’s degree in K-12 Special Education and 1-6 Elementary Ed, with the Outstanding Student in Elementary Education Award to her credit.
Teresa has been a work at home mom most of her career and wants to encourage other moms and dads who are trying to do the same.
